On 4 and 5 May 2023, the dialysis conference for nurses, technicians and doctors took place for the 31st time in Erfurt. Diaverum Germany participated for the first time with a stand in the industrial exhibition as well as with a lecture.

As one of the few service providers in the industrial exhibition, Diaverum was able to draw the attention of the nursing visitors to its stand. Among other things, enquiries about guest dialysis options and the concept for patient education were received with interest.

Our contribution to the "Technology Afternoon" on Thursday took the form of a lecture on "How digital monitoring of water treatment brings more time for care" in cooperation with GreenTec Dialysis GmbH. Jennifer Hempel, head of nursing at the MVZ Diaverum Erkelenz, provided insights into the work with the new digital monitoring system.

Jennifer Hempel commented: "We have been using the digital monitoring system for water treatment for a few weeks now and have already noticed that we have more time for the patients. We were able to give good impulses with the lecture in Erfurt. We were very pleased about the numerous visitors."

The evening, which Diaverum attended at the invitation of GreenTec, was also very pleasant. In a relaxed atmosphere we were able to make many new contacts and deepen already existing ones.

Frank Gotsmann, Managing Director of Diaverum Germany, said: "This year was the first time we participated in the symposium as an exhibitor and with a presentation. We were able to make valuable contacts and have good discussions both through our stand and in the follow-up to the lecture. It was also nice to see how the topic of 'green dialysis' is currently coming more and more into focus and how much has already changed compared to last year. Overall, the conference was very successful and we are already looking forward to our participation next year."
